Limon Chamber of Commerce-

Chuck Stone Memorial Citizen of the Year Award- 2016

This year’s Recipient of the Chuck Stone Memorial- Citizen of the Year- can always be found at Chamber events in the back ground, filling welcome bags, selling T shirts, taking tickets, etc. Being a Chamber member since 1999, that is a lot of events and time donated to the community. Moving to the Limon area in 1990, she has brought a lot to the Limon community. Serving on the Wellness Foundation Board, a founding member of Resources Unlimited and Eastern Plain Violence Coalition, serving on the Co State Youth council, Eastern Region Youth Council, and various Town of Limon committees, she has been recognized as her departments’  “employee of the quarter”.

With 20 years of employment for the State of CO, Melody Bolton has been recognized for numerous initiatives, including the current Healthcare SECTORS grant which is bringing up to $182K into Lincoln, Kit Carson, Elbert and Cheyenne counties. This grant will help any local resident, who wants to go into healthcare, enhance their career.

Dawn from the Ft Morgan, Work Force office, describes Melody, “ As one of the most generous spirits I have had the pleasure to work with!”

Congratulation, Melody- “a most generous spirit” describes you very accurately!

Thank you for your commitment to our community!
